Privacy Policy
Episode is operated by HSLA0001 INC., a New York State corporation ("we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect when you use episode.studio and the Episode service, and what we do with it.
What we collect
- Intake and account information: your name, work email, company, website, plan, and everything you enter in the intake form (offers, claims, things to avoid, platforms, brand colors, links).
- Files you upload: logos, fonts, screenshots, recordings, and other brand materials.
- Your public website: we capture pages, images, and text from the website you give us to build your brand profile.
- Email: messages you send to our addresses, such as revision requests, and records of the emails we send you.
- Payment: handled by Stripe. We receive your billing email, plan, and subscription status, never your full card number.
- Technical data: basic request logs (IP address, browser, country) kept by our hosting provider for security and reliability.
How we use it
To produce and deliver your ads, respond to revision requests, bill you, send service emails (intake links, delivery notices, billing notices), keep the Service secure, and improve it. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your materials to make ads for other customers.
AI processing
We use AI models from Anthropic to analyze your brand materials and write ad concepts. Your materials are sent to Anthropic only to perform that work for you. We do not permit your materials to be used to train AI models.
Who we share it with
Service providers that process data on our behalf: Cloudflare (hosting, database, file storage, email), Anthropic (AI processing), and Stripe (payments). We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, or as part of a merger or acquisition, in which case this policy continues to apply.
Retention
We keep your materials, brand profile, and delivered ads while you are a customer so we can keep producing consistent work, and for up to 90 days after you cancel so you can download your files. After that we delete them, except for records we must keep for tax, accounting, or legal reasons. You can ask us to delete your data sooner.
Your choices and rights
You can request access to, correction of, export of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing hello@episode.studio. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA; we will honor them as required.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit, stored with our infrastructure providers, and access to our admin tools is restricted to authorized staff. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.
Cookies
episode.studio does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Our hosting provider may set strictly necessary cookies for security.
Children
The Service is for businesses and is not directed to anyone under 16.
Changes
We may update this policy and will post the new version here with a new effective date. For material changes, we will email customers before they take effect.
